This causes incoming light to be split and transmitted in a special way within the stone. In combination with the higher dispersion, more intense light reflections, visible color flashes, and a livelier sparkle are created. While diamonds are known for their classic, calm sparkle, moissanite often displays a more dynamic and colorful rainbow play of light.
